Golden Mowing – Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions apply to all lawn mowing and garden maintenance services provided by Golden Mowing (“we”, “us”, “our”). By booking or receiving services, the client (“you”, “your”) agrees to the following terms.
1. Scope of Services
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, lawn mowing services include:

Lawn mowing
-
Whipper snipping
-
Edging
-
Blowing and clearing visible debris from hard surfaces
Weeding of garden beds, pathways, or landscaped areas is not included by default and must be requested separately.
Unless otherwise stated, all pricing is based on the outcome of the service, not the time spent on site.
2. Additional Services
Any services outside the agreed scope must be discussed and agreed upon prior to the scheduled service. Requests for additional work should be made with sufficient notice and may incur additional charges.
3. Overgrown Lawns
If lawn or garden growth is significantly overgrown such that the service required is materially greater than usual, an additional fee may apply. This will be communicated where reasonably practicable.
4. Animal Waste
Clients are responsible for ensuring excessive animal waste is removed from lawn and garden areas prior to service.
Where excessive dog or animal waste is present, this may pose a health and safety risk to our team and equipment. In such cases at our discretion:

We may mow around affected areas, or
-
A cleaning fee may be applied
Where possible, a warning will be provided prior to any fee being charged.
5. Garden Objects & Client Property
Clients are responsible for ensuring service areas are clear of objects and hazards including, but not limited to, plant pots, outdoor furniture, toys, pegs, hoses, and any low, exposed, or non-standard water mains, irrigation points, or plumbing fixtures- particularly those installed below ground level or obscured by grass or vegetation.
Large objects will generally be mowed around and not moved.
Smaller objects or concealed fixtures left within lawn or garden areas may be damaged during normal operations. While reasonable care will be taken, Golden Mowing is not responsible for damage to items or infrastructure left within service areas that are not clearly visible or identified prior to service.
6. Access to Property
Clients must ensure:

Gates are unlocked
-
Pets are secured
-
Clear access is provided to all service areas
If access cannot be reasonably obtained, the service may be skipped and a fee may apply in accordance with our cancellation policy.
7. Green Waste
Unless otherwise agreed:

Green waste will be placed in the client’s green waste bin
-
Where insufficient space is available, green waste will be stacked neatly in an appropriate location on the property
Green waste removal can be arranged for an additional fee upon request.
8. Scheduling & Skipped Services
For ongoing services, clients may request to skip a scheduled visit by providing notice within the required notice period, as advised in booking communications.
Skipped services will resume at the next scheduled visit. Failure to provide sufficient notice may result in the service being charged.
9. Cancellations
Clients may cancel or skip a service by providing notice within the required notice period communicated at the time of booking.
Where sufficient notice is not provided, the service may be charged in full.
10. Unforeseen Postponements
Golden Mowing reserves the right to postpone or reschedule services due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:

Rain or unsafe weather conditions

Extreme heat
-
Illness
-
Equipment failure
-
Safety concerns
Where possible, alternative arrangements will be communicated.
11. Payment Terms
Payment is required within 48 hours of service completion unless otherwise agreed.

Payment must be made using an approved payment method, which may include electronic payment, stored payment methods, or cash, as advised at the time of booking or invoicing.
Failure to pay within the required timeframe may result in suspension of future services.
12. Property Hazards & Damage
Clients are responsible for ensuring lawn and garden areas are clear of hazards prior to service, including but not limited to:

Rocks and stones
-
Sticks
-
Toys
-
Hoses
-
Pet waste
-
Garden debris
-
Low or exposed water mains
While all reasonable care is taken, Golden Mowing is not liable for damage caused by hidden or undisclosed hazards, including damage to windows, vehicles, fences, or other structures caused by debris being projected during normal mowing operations.
The client acknowledges that lawn mowing involves powered equipment and carries an inherent risk of debris being projected. By engaging Golden Mowing, the client accepts this risk where reasonable precautions have been taken.
Clients are responsible for ensuring vehicles are not parked in or near service areas. Golden Mowing is not liable for vehicle damage resulting from debris where reasonable care has been taken.
13. Satisfaction & Complaints
Any concerns regarding service quality must be raised within 48 hours of service completion. Issues may be reported via phone, message, or email, and we will make reasonable efforts to resolve genuine concerns.

14. Promotional Offers
If you are using a discount code for the first scheduled service, by using a discount code, the client agrees to the following conditions:

The service must be booked as an ongoing recurring service.

A minimum of three (3) paid services is required.

If services are cancelled or discontinued before the completion of three paid visits, the discounted amount will be reversed.

The reversed discount will be charged to the card on file or added to the final invoice.

This offer is not valid for one-off or casual services.

Golden Mowing reserves the right to withdraw or amend promotional offers at any time.

Use of this discount code constitutes acceptance of these terms.
15. Liability & Insurance
Golden Mowing holds relevant public liability and business insurances.
To the extent permitted by law:

Liability is limited
-
We are not responsible for pre-existing damage
-
We are not responsible for normal wear and tear
-
We are not responsible for weather-related outcomes
Nothing in these terms excludes rights under Australian Consumer Law.
16. Changes to Terms
These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time. The most current version will apply and will be available upon request or via our website.
17. Acceptance of Terms
By booking or receiving services from Golden Mowing, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
